John WebberYes this would be extremely beneficial for us too.
We sell phone cases and we have 1 product that contains 10 variants of each of the devices we offer.
So if someone buys an iPhone X case, they might leave a negative review because they don't like the buttons, or camera hole.
That review will currently be on the Product level, not the Variant level.
A future customer might think that negative review applies to all variants, instead of only iPhone X case.

S.G. MergedAdding reviews based on variants would be a fantastic feature!
We only have a few product types on the site to keep it clutterfree but they have lots of variants.
Being able to review items based on their variant would make it a lot easier for customers to make a decision. -

Christina MergedAt the moment the reviews are assigned to the base product. It would be good if the reviews showed the variant options that was purchased by the customer (for example, Colour: Black, Size: Large) so that other customers can take this into account when making their purchase.

JoThe lack of this function is rather appalling to my custom handicraft shop. When I asked about this:
my problem: Repeat orders >> Will skip: another variant is already in order
Judge.me’s response: This happens because there are many variants of 1 item in their orders. For example, in 1 order, they buy 2 same pencils in 2 differents colors red and blue. In this case, we only send out 1 review request since it belongs to 1 item.
What about in the case where the red pencil is less smooth than the blue’s that the customer bought?
Can I suggest that you guys tag the review to line item order? if I’m a store that sells pencils, and a customer who buys 2, they should be able to leave a separate reviews for them.
JM’s solution to this is to create separate listings but like a previous poster mentioned, not all of us like cluttering our websites with 10001 listings if we can group them for the customer’s ease of browsing.
Thank you. -

Jessie MergedWe often have many variants of a product. If it is possible to separate comments based on different variants. Or we can add a note to the review to let the customer know which product the review belongs to

REL BeautyAgreed! We sell lip balm and would love to have the review specific to each variant shade instead of the base product.

MatthiasI dont understand why its not possible to show customers on which variant the reviews have been made. this should be the first priority imo.
Not having this information is like not to know which product is good at all.
for example 3 times a bad review for flavour a and three times a good one for flavour b. means one flavour is 5* and the other is 1*. but judgeme doesnt tell the information to the customer, it only tells the customer the product is 3 stars, but this is wrong!
would be enough to see an image an a name of the variant in the review maybe. the usabilty for customers is like 0!
Please fix that, its not a feature its a bug!
