Coupon codes should be sent out for each Order, not for each review.
We send our review requests for each order out in a single email (using the multi review email template). And we give a coupon for when customers write reviews. But at the moment, for every review they write in that single review request email, the customer will get a coupon. So if the original order was for 5 products, they write 5 reviews then they will be emailed 5 separate coupons, which they can then use on 5 subsequent orders.
I think it'd be better if there was the option to just send one coupon per order (and not for every review in each order).

Zack MergedWhen sending a review request with multiple items, only one discount code will be issued, rather than multiple discount codes. This is to allow a customer to still review multiple items from their order, but only will receive one code instead of however many items they review.

Nicky MergedWould it be possible for a customers email to be moved to a "review received" bucket where they will be unable to receive future review requests post purchase. This action would prevent an almost permanent discount cycle.

Jinny MergedUpvoting this as another reviews app I was using would ask for multiple reviews in one review request email, and in the end award only 1 coupon. This way the customer is receiving one review per order, even if there's multiple items to review.

Rose MergedI'd rather not send out 7 discount codes if a person reviews 7 different products. Is it possible to have a setting that only sends out 1 coupon per order no matter how many products they've reviewed?

We have the same issue as the OP and it means we are not able to use this feature currently but we would like to be able to do so to encourage customers to leave reviews.
