Better support for Point of Sale (POS) orders: automatic review requests, store location variable
Customer Email/phone numbers are added after payment of Shopify Point of Sale orders which stops Judge.me from automating a review request email. However, if order/customer is updated with an email or phone number, it should then be updated on the Judge.me platform — automating a review request email/sms

Andrew MergedWe generate leads from all over the country by selling at markets and expos. We then aquire their email address on a notepad and later add the email to their Shopify customer profile and to our mailing list (if you ask a customer to type in an email at checkout you get 1/10th as many as you do if you ask them to write it on a pad).

Not being able to incorporate a system of automatically requesting and capturing their reviews (specifically as verified reviews) probably costs us 80% of our verified reviewer base.
For our business, this feature is extremely important. -

Andrew MergedWhen selling products, especially Point of Sale, one important variable is where the physical sale takes place. In Shopify we already input our locations into the Point of Sale sales channel, and these locations are associated with any sale/order as part of the order data.

It would help make our review request emails more personalized if we could input a {{ Store Location }} variable for the review. So in the case of an online store, the variable might say "our online store" or "widgets.com" but in the case of a physical store location or a market, it might say "the open-air market in downtown Seattle" or "our shop on Mulberry Street." This helps the buyer recall the customer service experience, the people they met, etc which will help them write a better review (and be more likely to write one).
So for Point of Sale this variable will need to be added to the CSV file as an optional column. So when shop owners upload a CSV for manual review requests they can input the location. -

Brittany Petrik MergedI currently have it set to 7 days for domestic orders, but this will also apply to POS sales. I would like a customer checking out in-store to receive an email requesting to review within 2 days

Irina MergedCurrently, you need to generate review requests manually for all POS or in-person sales, which is very time consuming and inefficient. Could you please implement automatically generated reviews for all POS or in-person sales? Thank you!

Tod Barnett MergedPurchases made in-person on the Shopify POS aren't sending review requests because it doesn't add the email addresses until after the card has been swiped. The customer profile in Judge.Me should be created after the receipt has been emailed to the customer, not before.

Barbara MergedWhen using Shopify's POS (Point of Sale) system, unless you enter the email before the sale is completed it will not work. When you are selling with POS the way it works is, you ring the sale out and ask the customer if they would like their receipt emailed to them and do they want to get on our email list. This does not allow for reviews. It should be fixed.
